Anyone else out there ever have that one item you couldn’t get out of your head but also couldn’t justify the splurge?!

We will be the first ones to admit that we give in to a $plurge worthy temptation every now and then…

We have been seeing the Rebecca Minkoff Sofia Tassel Bags popping up quite a bit lately, and they have been brightening our outlooks for spring.

We were completely inspired, and decided to put together our own spin on this fun trend. Bonus: our alternatives cost almost 7 times less {no joke!} and are completely customizable to suite your fancy!

We found these adorable scalloped clutches on Marley Lilly for $29.99 each. Monograms are always free with any order and they come in a bunch of colors! These even have a hidden chain that converts these babies into cross-body bags!

We found the multi-colored tassels on Etsy for 85 cents a piece! We went through Honey Bee Chic Boutique and her service and turn around time was fabulous! She also has different metal options and SO MANY fun colors to choose from!

After everything arrived, our final step was to arrange the tassels in the order we preferred and sew them into the stitching on the underside of the flap!
