“To be beautiful means to be yourself.
You don’t need to be accepted by others.
You need to accept yourself.”
Love yourself and the rest will follow
How do we learn to feel beautiful in our own skin again? How do we learn to love ourselves and our bodies? Beauty is skin deep, but I truly believe we have to feel beautiful in order to radiate beauty.
We body shame ourselves. We want to change at least one or more of those body parts to look like someone else’s. And truthfully I wish I could put a end to that.
I will admit, I do and have body shammed myself. But NO MORE of that. I have been trying to practice good self-care for a little while and it’s just made me a better and happier person.
BIO CLARITY helps my skin feel amazing without drying it out, which is super helpful here in PA now that the weather is changing. Redness is officially out of the picture.
So personally the first step to loving myself and my body was to set time aside and give my skin the self-care it needed.
Three easy steps. Twice a day. Piece of cake!
One thing I love about BioClarity: It’s a cruelty free, plant based skincare line. I’ve been on the search for quite sometime for a non-toxic self care product. After one week adding them to my daily lifestyle, I can definitely say I’m relieved I made the switch and found this amazing product.
When is the last time you did exactly what you wanted to do for yourself? Did you feel guilty when you finally set time aside for yourself? Here’s the trick: the more time you spend with yourself, the more you will love yourself.
Read a book. Take a walk. Watch the sunset. Buy yourself a new comfy outfit. Do something for YOU. I am finally in a good place where I can really focus on the little things I used to take for granted and love myself for who I am.
So I leave tonights blog with a few words in hopes that you may find comfort. Be comfortable in your own skin because that is the beginning of strength. Create a life you love or you always dreamt of living. Strive for excellence.
