Happy New Year everyone!!! We’ve got big plans for 2019 on In Our Style Blog, starting with today’s bonus blog post!

I wanted to share my outfit details from last night’s NYE look, because most of the pieces can still be styled after the holidays!

Let me start with this velvet blazer from SHEIN. For the price it’s good quality and stretchy so I felt comfortable instead of constricted in this jacket. It fits true to size and comes in a few colors. I really loved the festive evergreen for the holidays but the blue is beyond gorgeous!

The tiered top I layered under my blazer is an older style from Ann Taylor LOFT. The cute mesh polka dot yoke adds an element of fun that can be styled for work under any cardigan or suit blazer. I found a similar style available here from Forever 21 for only $18.00. It’s also available in black which I may have to scoop up for myself!

I wore my favorite black straight leg trousers since I styled this look to go from work to our dinner reservation. But this outfit would look great with a dark wash denim!

Since the weather was surprisingly and abnormally mild for where I live I was able to show off my emerald pedicure in open-toed shoes. They are from Lulu’s and are only $31. The chunky heel make them more comfortable and easier to walk in. This style is available in 15!!! different color options!

My sparkly accessories included crystal drop earrings and pave chain link bracelet both from J. Crew.

However you got to ring in the New Year, I hope the possibilities of a fresh start have you feeling as hopeful and excited as I am! Even if you don’t make any resolutions for 2019, stay committed to your decisions and goals but flexible in your approach. An open mind is the key to success.
