Find Your Cozy

Back in the fall I wrote a post about my subscription to the seasonal packaged phenomenon that is the fab, fit, fun box. You’ve seen it everywhere from ads on Facebook to other bloggers on Instagram. They rave about the items that they are surprised with every season and how they get lots of full sized products at a much lower price than what everything retails for. I got the (currently sold out) winter box right before Christmas and I thought I would again summarize and share with you my honest review of the products I received as well as the experience of the subscription. So if you are considering a subscription for the spring season, you’ll have a preview of what came the season prior. I am all about self-love so if you’re looking to spoil yourself this upcoming Valentine’s Day I recommend subscribing to Fab, Fit, Fun.

Keep in mind, some items you get to customize and choose options for before your box ships to you, and others are a surprise and are automatically included. I’ve linked all items individually for you to purchase for yourself on our ShopStyle Collective Page.

I found it helpful to look at each item individually too because it really shows what you’re getting for an amazing price because when you add up the retail value of each product it’s way more than what you pay for the seasonal subscription fee. You get so much for your money!

Inside the Box

1. Skin Care Products

The Ahava Hydrating Mask is perfect for chapped and dry skin that is inevitable during the cold winter months. It can be used as a quick 15 minute mask treatment or can also be left on overnight. I’ve used it both ways and have had no breakouts or any other issues. Just smooth, soft, and hydrated skin for this girl!

I’m in L•O•V•E with the coconut sugar body cream by Anthropologie. It smells amazing and is also super hydrating and nourishing for my skin. I use it daily and I hope my bottle never runs out!

I used my first Blaq hyaluronic eye pad set for the first time the other day and honestly I don’t know what I was waiting for! They have such a nice cooling and rejuvenating effect on my eyes. I felt that I looked brighter and more awake after the short 15 minute treatment. My pack came with a set of 5 so I’ll definitely be using these on repeat for the duration of the winter.

2. Makeup Products

I chose to include the Pur “Be Your Selfie” eyeshadow palette as one of my custom items and I am obsessed.

It is the perfect neutral palette with just a few shimmer shadows included. I swatched the shimmers so you could see how brilliant they are on!

The other cosmetic that was included that compliments the eyeshadow palette perfectly is a highlighter stick.

It’s an amazing little pen that brightens my under eye shadows and I also apply it just under my brow to highlight my eyes.

I also swatched it so you could see how subtle the shade is. It’s the perfect finishing touch for a brilliant and bright winter eye.

3. Hair Care Products

Seriously ladies this is the holy grail of dry shampoos. I’ve never used a product that is as light and smells as good as this. It leaves virtually no residue and leaves my hair feeling like I just washed it when in reality it’s been half a week since I used actual shampoo. Oribe gold lust is like coffee… for your hair!

4. Bearpaw Gloves and Headband

Anything sherpa-lined is totally my jam, especially when temps drop below 20 like they have this week! This cute little set is keeping me warm.

5. Mark & Graham Blanket

The most beautiful, cozy, and soft knit blanket was included in the winter box and it is the epitome of winter wonder.

This came in 2 colors and I was so happy that the gray and cream matched my living room decor so well.

Overall Experience

1. Packaging – what you see is what you get. That brightly colored fun patterned box awaited me on my porch when it was delivered and it definitely made me excited to open it and see what was inside!

2. Price – so for $49.99 a season (unless you use a promo code to get your first box for $39.99) you do get lots of items that would definitely exceed that amount if everything was purchased separately.

3. Products – I liked a handful of items that were included and then there were others that I wouldn’t have purchased simply because I’m kind of particular when it comes to beauty and skin care products. But it was really a nice bonus to just get extra items to try to expand my horizons and see if I liked anything new. I ended up loving each product in this seasons box so much!

I hope you found my honest review helpful. I’ve been disappointed in the past with mail subscriptions but overall I really liked that I get to choose some products and get to be surprised with others. I plan to continue my subscription for now and I’m looking forward to my spring box! Feel free to DM me any questions you have on each product, and purchase one (or two, or three) through our ShopStyle Page! Treat yourself. Love yourself.
