Apple-y Ever After

Every year I make a mental list of a few festive things I’d like to do during the fall season. Since following Brants Apple Orchard on Instagram, I quickly added it to my must-visit places. Located just across the Ohio border (just a 30 minute drive from home), Brants boasts a lovely and lively place to experience this time of year.

So we decided to head out for the afternoon and we are so very glad we did! We apple-solutely recommend planning your own visit soon!

Alice is always up for an adventure and exploring a new place!

Once we arrived we decided to walk through the many rows of apple trees in the orchard and along the grape vines in the vineyard. It was the perfect day to be outside!

Brants has dog-friendly, marked walking trails through the woods surrounding the property too. We had lots of laughs (and some gasps) as we walked the long trail because it was all decorated for Halloween and I am easily frightened! Brants does Haunted Trail walks at night during the season. I’m glad daylight was peaking through the trees!

After our walk was over we picked a picnic table near the pond to have lunch. Brants is very family friendly, with a playground and hay rides for the kids. Alice loved watching all of them run and play in the sun!

Brants Bakery gave us all the peels with their variety of wraps, paninis, sandwiches and soups all served with a side of fresh crisp apple! For dessert you can enjoy hot apple cider or an apple cider slushy with their famous apple cider donuts which are hard core DELICIOUS!

Thank you, Brants for having us for a perfect fall day! We will be back again soon! 🍎🍏
