We had a ton of feedback during our Sephora Insider blog post a few weeks back! During this pandemic a lot of us have really enhanced the all natural look, including myself. But there are days where a little pick me up truly made a difference for our self care.
What better way to show off more products I’ve purchased and used during all of this! Myself, Ange and our dear friend Natalie, are breaking down some products we love and it’s power!
We are so excited to have Natalie join this weeks blog post and Glamaway giveaway with us. Natalie is a friend, and local MUA. She is so stinking talented and knew we just had to show case her and her craft.

This blurring & moisturizing primer instantly smooths the look of uneven skin tone & redness for a “filter” like finish. It contains probiotics & superfoods like licorice & chia seeds to help balance & nourish skin. The blend-able, buildable formula releases special skin-blurring properties or “glow particles” that create the look of a sun-kissed, radiant skin tone. Bonus* the non-comedogenic formula won’t clog pores. I have very fair skin and even still, somehow the blending and blurring technology perfectly matches and evens out my skin tone. It’s a perfect alternative to foundation for a low maintenance no-makeup look which has been great during this time.
The Olaplex line is a highly moisturizing, reparative system that leaves hair easy to manage, shiny, and healthier with each use. The key benefits I’ve seen for my own hair is that it repairs and maintains bonds within the hair, eliminates frizz and flyaways, and reduces breakage- which is so important because I’ve been rocking a lot of ponytails and buns at work during quarantine. My hair always feels softer, healthier, and smoother even after just one application. It is completely safe for color treated hair too.
The most epic $4 mascara is WATERPROOF! This mascara gives me voluminous false lash effects… without the glue! The conic shape fiber brush provides lashes with dramatic volume and sculpted length. I only wear this mascara and the blurring primer mentioned above anymore and off to work I go! Effortless! Essence products also promise no animal testing.

Got a pimple emergency?
Blemishes always show up at the worst times – this is the perfect patch to help battle those pesky pimples without harsh active ingredients or drying formulas.
Mighty Patch works best of pimples with fluid/pus – you know, those nasty ugly whiteheads, that no makeup ever covers.
Go through your cleansing routine as normal
Apply the sticker to the pimple. Wear overnight or at least six hours. ( I always wear mine during the night)
Remove the sticker in the morning once the patch has turned opaque white and see your pimple visible reduced.
No Scar, No hassle, and keeps those hands from picking!
THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!!
This concentrated formula is designed to support hair health so that it looks thicker, denser, fuller and healthier.
I use it every other day to use two full droplets for the whole head. Work it in at night and by morning your hair feels wonderful. Never wash it immediately after! Let the product work it’s magic!
1. Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara
$24 – in store only at Ulta:
This mascara is great for so many reasons! I receive compliments on my lashes almost every time I wear this. I could honestly just put on a little bit of concealer with this mascara and feel like I am somewhat put together on those days where I don’t feel like doing full glam (which has basically been all of quarantine)! It doesn’t flake or smudge on me, gives me insane length and is buildable without the clumps!
2. Isle of Paradise Tanning Water $28 – Sephora:
Myself — along with many others — have had spring break or summer vacations canceled due to all of this craziness. I’ve been craving sunkissed skin and the Isle of Paradise Tanning Water has been my saving grace! It is color correcting, which helps even out my skin tone and doesn’t give off any orange tones like some self tanners out there. Along with that, I don’t get the typical self tanner smell!
3. Colour Pop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer $14 – Ulta:
I haven’t been using too many full coverage foundations lately, however I have wanted to look put together and rock a no makeup – makeup look. This tinted moisturizer from colour pop is amazing, and I can’t forget to mention it is also so affordable! It gives me the perfect amount of coverage for the look I am trying to achieve — it’s almost like my skin, but better! It is infused with hyaluronic acid and coconut water so it leaves the skin feeling hydrated rather than oily, like some other tinted moisturizers I have tried in the past.
4. Buxom Wanderlust Primer Infused Blushes $22 – Ulta or Sephora:
I absolutely love this blush line from buxom! Blush is one of the first products that begins to fade when I am wearing my makeup and when I am able to find a blush that lasts on my cheeks all day long, I know it’s good! These blushes are primer infused, so, similar to your face primer, it helps your makeup last! The formula is beautifully pigmented and smooth; they blend out like a dream on the cheeks! A blush tip that I enjoy: I will blend out whatever bronzer I am using into my eye crease and then go in with the same blush. It gives you a super easy and natural sun kissed glow!
