Happy Easter, readers! This season is all about new beginnings, and so today we celebrate a new beginning for our photographer & dear friend, Samantha.
Goodbyes are never easy, and this one certainly stings. Sam has always been enthusiastically willing to capture the milestone moments of our lives over the years. I’m sure you remember my home nursery maternity shoot last fall and our first family Christmas pictures too. She is so strong, supportive, fun, and just really really cool! She has a wonderful way of making everyone feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. And she always captures my good side, which I appreciate! I truly cherish photographs, sometimes when it is all said and done a photograph is the only proof of the memory. I love looking back in time, especially with Sam’s images.
Today she embarks on a new adventure as she moves with her family away to Virginia. Though she promises us she will travel back regularly (and often enough to still photograph for us, too!) we will still miss having her near. But we wish her well, and know in our hearts that we will never (nor could ever) replace her. She is OURS forever!
We had so much fun doing Charlie’s half birthday/first Mother’s Day photoshoot (a whole month early, to be sure Sam could be here for them! LOL) so please enjoy!
