Glad to be back to blogging today! Thank you all for being here this week to check back in after we took last weekend off for the holiday! We hope you had an enjoyable 4th of July!

My husband and I had the opportunity to go out to a nice dinner together this week, just because! It was fun to get a little dressed up. After dinner we went to a few of our other favorite local spots for dessert and enjoyed one more drink before heading back home. It was the perfect spontaneous evening. I’m sharing my outfit details below:

As far as accessories, I stuck with my tried and true reliables: my favorite affordable tortoise shell sunglasses and gemstone halo earrings, my Tory Burch bag and Jack Rodgers sandals.

Ordinarily today’s post would have been our picks from the early access preview of the Nordstrom sale. So I’m taking the opportunity to let you know we won’t be sharing or shopping the sale this year. We took a poll on Instagram this week and not many of you seem to be interested in shopping the sale this year either.
