I’m A SeerSucker For You

My home has beautiful eyes
The cutest nose
The cheesiest smile

My home likes starry nights
Is short in height
And sometimes bites

My home has got a window to my soul
My home somehow makes me feel so whole
My home feels like gold

My home wont ever be a place
My home has the most beautiful face

You’re my home.

Happy 4th of July weekend! Charlie and I will be matching in our seersucker pieces from Hope & Henry. 💙💙

Nothing seemed more classic to me than seersucker at a summer picnic. Seersucker is definitely one of my favorite summertime fabrics…. I almost shed a tear every year when it is time to put all of my seersucker in storage! This dress is a classic silhouette with added flair- a high neck front and lower cut wrap back.

Not to mention, I took the dress out of the box and it fit perfectly… It was like it was made for me. This is super rare… I usually should have something nipped or hemmed at the tailors so I was thrilled!

Another thing I love about this dress is that it is lined. Seersucker is a naturally thin fabric, so it’s great to know that this is well lined. This is the absolute perfect frock for work, brunch, bridal showers, lunch at the club and so on… it really works for so many things.

I also love that it effortlessly pairs with anything dressy or casual, whether it be Jack Rogers sandals, high heeled pumps, wedges, and of course pearls– some of my daily summertime wardrobe staples. This piece can easily be dressed up or down for any occasion.

Both pieces from Hope & Henry are such good quality. Light weight linen makes them breezy and comfortable for summer. Again, the dress is fully lined so not see through, and very comfortable.
Best of all, the dress has POCKETS!
And a moment for these very summery rattan statement earrings.
