It’s almost unbelievable that we are a week away from Christmas day! As much as I love Christmas day– and the entire reason for the season, I just love the time leading up to December 25th and I am not really ready for it to be over yet. This weekend my husband and I attended a friend’s holiday house party.

I’m certain most of us have holidays events that call for skirts and dresses. I’ve got plenty of those for the season, so often times it’s the more casual occasions I find myself struggling to dress for. So for this weekend’s outfit, I kept it basic, but fun. This could even be a church outfit if the jeans are swapped for a nice pair of dress slacks. I styled this top to be very Christmas appropriate with pops of red and bow earrings. A great white top is one of the foundation pieces of a great wardrobe. It can be worn for work or play, dressed up or dressed down.. really the options are endless!

The one that I am wearing in particular is made of satin polyester, so it’s a little on the dressier side. I particularly love the satin covered buttons too, to take it up a notch. It’s at a really good price point, the quality is great and fabric is year round. Plus the silhouette with the subtle puff sleeves and shoulders is fun as well as flattering.

Do you have the perfect white blouse? Hope you have a fabulous holiday!
